How to Play "Maori" – The Dragon Table: Episode 6

Game

In the sixth episode of The Dragon Table, I explain how to play “Maori.” I go over the rules, end game scoring and even include a SUPERSPEED playthrough. As always, thanks for visiting The Dragon Table!

* – I forgot to mention during the video that you can also pay a puka shell to move the boat one space farther.
* – I also gave my friend to my left 3 extra points at the end of the game by accident. That’s what I get for trying to go fast.

  1. Maybe I have a different version to you but my rules give you 5 shells as starting capital and the player who places the explorer ship does not get to start, it's the player to his left who does, which is good as it means that he cannot place it to give himself an advantage in going first. This is a very popular game with our group and at least 3 of them would buy it if it was available. we usually play with 5 players.

Love your reviews, very clear. Wish you had one for Discworld or Hawaii
